ExperienceFellow at the Sports Management Symposium, Innsbruck

Yesterday, the 6th Sports Management Symposium, aiming to present current international research on sports management, took place in Innsbruck.

Two project presentations were about ExperienceFellow and how it was used to assess the experience of internal and external Stakeholders during the International Children’s Games 2016 which took place in Innsbruck from January 12th to the 15th.

These points make this project so special:

  • Approaching internal and external stakeholders separately allowed the event organizers to improve the service for both groups purposefully.
  • Daily meetings of the ExperienceFellow research team and the event organizers, discussing the up’s and down’s discovered in the touchpoints of the past day, allowed to implement service improvements immediately.
  • A short but intensive briefing of internal stakeholders elevated their motivation to contribute to the project enormously.
  • The researchers did not stay behind their computer and waited for new touchpoints to come in – rather they attended the event as well and reported their observations with ExperienceFellow. This additional method enriched the data even more.

We are proud that ExperienceFellow could successfully contribute to a event of such high importance for Innsbruck and Tyrol.

Congratulations to the project teams for their very sophisticated work!
